John leads the entire GTK business, as well as the newly-acquired Review Display Systems. He is responsible for setting the long-term strategic aims so that we can continue to meet and exceed our customer requirements, as well as ensuring the continued success of both businesses.
John joined GTK from Acal Electronics in 1993 and was promoted to the board in 2009. In 2013, John was promoted to Managing Director and led the management buyout of the business. John helped GTK successfully grow and expand, opening the Craiova manufacturing facility in 2016 and doubling the revenue of the business during this time. In 2019, Volex acquired GTK and John has remained in his role of Managing Director. John holds various management qualifications from Cranfield University.
Candice leads GTK’s global Finance teams, as well as Operations in Asia. She is responsible for securing the company's long-term financial health & prosperity, along with ensuring that a resilient and agile supply chain is safeguarded and expanded in a continually evolving environment.
Candice joined GTK in 2007 as the Finance Manager. In 2013, she was promoted to Group Finance Manager with Far Eastern responsibilities and, in 2019, to Finance and Far East Operations Director. Prior to joining GTK, and following a managerial position in Taiwan, Candice held the role of Finance and Administration Manager for an OEM motherboard manufacturing company. Candice has over 20 years' experience in Finance and holds an MA in Human Resource Management from the University of Leeds.
Gavin leads a strong and committed team dedicated to building customer relationships, driving sales, and communicating GTK's values across a broad range of market sectors.
Gavin joined GTK in 2021 as Sales & Marketing Director and prior to that, Gavin held various leadership roles in Sales, Business Development and General Management with leading connector manufacturers and component distributors.
Matt leads our Engineering teams and is responsible for guiding the business in strategic and technical engineering projects, alongside delivering targeted growth and improving our operational efficiency, all to ensure that we can provide our customers with an exceptional experience.
Matt joined GTK in 2013 and has held various roles within production engineering. In 2020, Matt was promoted to Engineering Director responsible for both UK & European sites. Prior to joining GTK, Matt worked in various engineering roles across the aerospace and electronics industry.
David is our Operations Manager for the UK. His primary responsibilities include ensuring the UK manufacturing facility maintains and improves quality, efficiency and lead times. He also leads the GTK Logistics team ensuring OTIF and overall accountability for the GTK Integrated Management System and associated quality functions.
David joined GTK in October 2022 as Production Manager before starting his current role in March 2024. David has been involved in manufacturing since 1990 and brings with him a wealth of experience from food and drinks manufacturing to pharmaceuticals.
Silviu joined GTK in 2023 and heads up our Manufacturing Plant in Romania. He is responsible for leading the team and keeping our facility a safe workplace, with a high focus on customer satisfaction while the facility continues to grow and expand.
Prior to joining GTK, Silviu worked in manufacturing industries in various other leadership roles in Quality, Project management and Supply Chain, at both a local or global level. He has more than 20 years’ experience in industrial environment, he holds several qualifications from Craiova University.
Leanne joined GTK in 2023 and is responsible for setting and leading the people strategy across all GTK sites to ensure that employees can realise their full potential in a healthy, happy, and compliant working environment.
Prior to joining GTK, Leanne worked in the logistics and food manufacturing industries in various other HR roles, as well as serving as a Special Constable within the Metropolitan Police Force. Leanne is CIPD level 5 qualified and holds a degree in Police Sciences from the University of South Wales.
